Changelog
What's new
Every meaningful update to MailBridge, newest first.
GitHub Integration & MCP Server
File GitHub issues straight from triaged emails, and connect Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client directly to your support data.
GitHub joins Linear, ClickUp, and Jira
Bug reports and feature requests triaged by MailBridge can now open GitHub issues automatically, with the same priority-tier labelling and primary-integration rotation you already get with Linear, ClickUp, and Jira.
What’s new:
- GitHub in Integrations — connect a repo and choose which categories (bug reports, feature requests, or both) should file issues automatically
- Issues are created with a
priority:{tier}label so triage priority carries straight into your GitHub workflow - GitHub can be set as your primary PM integration, same as any other connected tool
MCP Server — bring your support data into any AI client
MailBridge now ships a full MCP server. Point Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client at your workspace and it can read conversations, search your knowledge base, pull analytics, and — with explicit confirmation — reply to customers or update your knowledge base directly from the chat.
What’s new:
- Read tools: list and inspect conversations, look up a contact’s full history, search the knowledge base, pull an analytics overview
- Write tools: reply to a conversation, add an internal note, update conversation status, escalate internally, and manage knowledge base documents
- Authenticated with the same API keys you already use for the REST API and webhooks — no separate setup
- See Connect an MCP client for setup instructions and the full tool list
Both are available now. Connect GitHub from Integrations, and set up the MCP server from Developer Tools → MCP.
Knowledge Base
Build a library of product knowledge your AI reads before every triage. Better context means more accurate replies from the first message.
Knowledge Base — give your AI something to work with
Your support AI now has access to your product knowledge before it triages any email.
Add documents to the Knowledge Base — pricing pages, refund policies, product docs, troubleshooting guides — and the AI retrieves the most relevant content at triage time. Suggested replies reference your actual policies and product details instead of generic placeholders.
What’s new:
- Knowledge Base section in your dashboard — create folders, upload documents as plain text or Markdown, and see indexing status in real time
- Semantic search across your docs — the pipeline finds the most relevant chunks using vector embeddings, not keyword matching
- Auto re-indexing on edits — update a document and it re-processes automatically; archived documents are excluded immediately
- Context-aware triage — the AI triage pipeline now injects retrieved knowledge into every email it processes
Improved:
- AI suggested replies are now significantly more specific when relevant Knowledge Base content exists
- Triage summaries include a note when knowledge base context was used
The Knowledge Base is available on all plans. Open the Knowledge Base section in your dashboard to get started.
