Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 March 2025
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using MailBridge. By using the Service you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using MailBridge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to "you" include that organization.
2. Description of service
MailBridge is a software-as-a-service platform that receives inbound emails, classifies them using AI, and routes them as messages to connected Slack or Discord workspaces. The Service may also provide webhooks, an API, and a management dashboard.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
3. Accounts and eligibility
To use MailBridge you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been compromised or used in violation of these Terms.
4. Billing and payment
Free trial. New organizations receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Service. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. By providing payment information you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
Message limits. Each plan includes a monthly message allowance. Exceeding your limit will suspend email processing until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. We will notify you when you reach 80% of your limit.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods.
Price changes. We may change pricing at any time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send, route, or process spam, unsolicited commercial email, or bulk email campaigns.
- Transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent.
- Violate the privacy or rights of any person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other accounts.
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.
- Circumvent any rate limits, usage restrictions, or security measures.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise provide access to the Service to third parties without our express written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this section.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including email content processed through your inbound address ("Your Content").
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content and your use of the Service complies with applicable law, including data protection laws. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and consents to route the emails you process through MailBridge.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, design, trademarks, and content provided by MailBridge, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it as described here.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
8. Third-party services
MailBridge integrates with third-party platforms including Slack and Discord. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
Connecting a third-party integration means you authorize MailBridge to access and interact with that service on your behalf within the permissions you grant during the OAuth or bot setup flow.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. AI classification is probabilistic and may produce incorrect results; you remain responsible for reviewing routed messages.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAILBRIDGE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MailBridge and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if we believe you have violated these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice where practicable.
On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
